The Regional Violence Prevention Coalition (RVPC) is an alliance of businesses, community and faith-based organizations, law enforcement, public and private agencies, and individuals who are dedicated to decreasing the cycle of violence in Southern California communities, through education, community dialogue, and advocacy for services and policies that result in violence prevention and intervention.
Our approach is to tackle violence at its roots and to educate, advocate and increase awareness around the causes of violence, while lobbying for effective services for victims of violence.
As a "coalition for change," the RVPC brings together diverse perspectives, facilitating critical dialogue between the faith-based and community organizations, law enforcement and government agencies.
